What is Verodat?

Verodat is a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform designed to automate the collection, preparation, and supply of data for artificial intelligence (AI) applications. It functions as a data supply chain platform, ensuring that AI systems receive context-rich, continuously supplied, and reliably sourced data, which is essential for accurate performance.


Why use Verodat?

Security:

  • Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Users can enable 2FA to add an extra layer of security to their accounts.

  • Password Security: Verodat enforces a password complexity standard and stores passwords using a hashing function to protect against unauthorized access.

  • Data Encryption: All data transmitted through Verodat is encrypted using 256-bit HTTPS, and data at rest is secured with industry-standard AES-256 encryption.

  • Data Hosting: Verodat's services and data are hosted in Microsoft Azure facilities within the European Union, ensuring compliance with regional data protection regulations.

  • Disaster Recovery: Verodat's data platform is built with disaster recovery in mind, hosting data across multiple regions in the EU to ensure business continuity with minimal downtime.

Audit Trail:

Verodat provides a comprehensive audit trail feature that meticulously tracks the origins, history, and transformations of your data throughout its lifecycle. This functionality ensures full provenance of your data, offering transparency.

Data Upload:

Verodat allows you to upload data manually (in csv, excel, json, and pdf format) or request automation (using mail, script, or connection).

Manual:

Verodat offers a user-friendly manual file upload feature that allows you to seamlessly integrate your data into the platform.

Automation:

You can setup schedule request to upload data and setup data upload automation to the requests.

Troubleshoot Data:

Verodat validates your data and allows you to resolve errors with your data. After uploading the file, it will display any errors present in the uploaded data:

Close the popup to view the error:

Update data in table and click "Save"

Click on "Re-process" to process file:

You can upload data in different file formats:

  • .xslx This is the file type saved frdefaultom Microsoft Excel.

  • .csv: A CSV (comma-separated values) file is a text file that has a specific format that allows data to be saved in a table-structured format.

  • .json: JavaScript Object Notation (JSON) is a standard text-based format for representing structured data based on JavaScript object syntax.

  • .pdf: PDF stands for "portable document format". Essentially, the format is used when you need to save files that cannot be modified but still need to be easily shared and printed.

Connection:

Connectors allow you to connect and access real-time data from enterprise applications and hybrid infrastructures effortlessly with NoCode Connectivity solutions.

Connection makes it easy to connect, upload data, and automate data upload from your enterprise data source.

Connectors allow you to connect:

  • SaaS Platforms: Xero, Salesforce and Netsuite

  • Databases: MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle

  • Online tools: Google sheets and Excel Online

To upload data using Connection, click on the Upload button:

Select the responsible supplier group and upload data as a connection:

Click on “Connect your Data Source” to setup connection and select the connection you previously set up in the steps above

Mapping:

Verodat mapping refers to the process of aligning or associating the fields in a source of data with the corresponding fields in the Verodat datasets. This mapping ensures that data uploaded into Verodat is correctly structured and matches the format expected by your team. Each dataset can have multiple mappings for different data sources.

You can create a mapping run time while uploading the file:

Select "No Mapping" to manually map source data fields to target fields, you can drag "Source Data Filed" and drop to "Target Field" to map:

Click on "Save":

Provide name to the mapping and "Save" to create mapping:

You can modify the existing mapping as needed. When saving, you’ll have the option to either create a new mapping or update the existing one. To create a new mapping, simply select "Create New" and provide a name for it.

View Data:

Once the mapping is applied and the file is processed, you view the process summary data if there are any errors.

Close the popup to view the error:

Update data in table and click "Save"

Click on "Re-process" to process file:

You can download the uploaded pdf file in Excel format by clicking on "Export to Excel":

Click on the file to download:

Save data to dataset:

Once you have uploaded and processed data without errors, then your data is ready to get committed to dataset:

Once data is committed to dataset, you can view data in Dataset -> Data outputs tab:
