What's a Supplier Group?
Your Team of Suppliers: In Verodat, you group your suppliers into 'Supplier Groups'. It's like creating a team where each member contributes data.
One Group, Many Users: You can add multiple people from the same organization or department to a group.
Central Contact Person: Each group has a main contact person, called the 'Supplier Admin' who can add and remove users to the group.
Keeping Everyone in the Loop
Notifications for All: Everyone in the Supplier Group gets updates about data requests and they can respond with data to requests assigned to their group.
Types of Supplier Roles
Supplier Admin: This is the person managing the supplier group.
Supplier User: These are the team players, contributing data.
4. Adding a New Supplier
First, your supplier needs to create a Verodat account and join your workspace:
Navigate to 'Suppliers': Click on the 'Suppliers' tab in the Verodat left menu.
2. Manage Suppliers: Hit the green 'Manage Suppliers' button.
3. Select 'Add new Supplier Group'
4. Create a New Group: Set a Supplier Group name (often an organisation or team name)
4. Nominate a Supplier Admin: Enter the email address for the person who will be notified to join Verodat and supply data.
They will receive notifications about requests to supply data, and can add additional people from their team or organisation to contribute data. If you are simply trying to automate a request, you can add yourself.
5. Your supplier will recieve an email notification asking them to join Verodat as a data supplier.
When the invite is accepted, you can set up a single or recurring request for data from that supplier.
