What's a Scheduled Request?
A scheduled request creates a recurring reminder to refresh your data at specified times. It will automatically generate a data upload request and send an email reminder, ensuring timely updates and efficient data management.
Making a Request Schedule
Go to the 'Requests' page in Verodat. Look for 'Manage Request Schedules' and then create a new one with '+ New Schedule'.
It will open a popup to setup a scheduler and below details:
Name: Give unique name to identify scheduler
Description: Short description to Scheduler
Repeat: Repeat request Daily/Weekdays/Day/Week/Month and hour
Reminder: You can send an advance reminder to the data Supplier, and customise the number of minutes/hours/days/weeks before the scheduled date that you would like these to be sent.
Follow up: You can send a follow up reminder to Supplier or Requester. You can set up to 4 of these reminders and customise the number of minutes/hours/days/weeks after the scheduled date that you would like these to be sent..
Clicking on “Add Workspace Schedules” will complete the creation of your schedule:
Now, you can create a request using a scheduler to the dataset. Navigate to the dataset and click on the “Request” to add a recurring request scheduler:
Request type should be "Recurring"
On clicking “Save and Continue”, it will generate a request for the same day, and the supplier group will receive an email for the same:
Once done, you can see the request scheduler in the “Requests” menu:
You can also setup an automation to request to auto-upload data; you can read more here.
