Set your advanced preferences. To automate for a multi-tab upload, you will need to update "Mapping Autocorrection" and "Multiple excel tabs" to "Yes":
Define the final processing state:
- Approved: all uploads in the automated request will be committed to database.
- Review: all uploads in the automated request will remain in the "For Review" state.
Ignore Warning Errors:
- Yes: any upload in the automated request that does not have warning errors will be committed to Snowflake.
- No: those uploads will remain in the "For Review" state.
Allow Subsequent Requests:
- Yes: allow broken requests to continue processing when automation is active. This prevents pipeline disruptions, letting you address overdue uploads later.
- No: Prevent subsequent request if request is broken.
Mapping Autocorrection:
- Yes: AI-mapper will detect column mismatches and update your mapping configuration to match the correct headers, allowing processing to continue without manual intervention. You will receive email notification when corrections are made.
- No: will not auto-correct mapping; if any error occurs, it will remain on review state.
Multiple excel tabs:
- Yes: Enable to configure individual mappings for each tab in the workbook.
- No: to use a single sheet and single mapping.
Now add the sheet names. You can enter them manually by typing the sheet name, and click Add Sheet to add a new sheet.
Or, you can upload an Excel file containing sheets to autofill the sheet names:
Once sheet names are available, select headers and mapping for each sheet:
You can also delete a specific sheet if it is not required:
Click on "Save and Enable Automation".
To upload a file, send an email to the given email address:
Once you send the email with the Excel file containing the specified sheet names, the file will be automatically uploaded and processed. You can view the uploaded file under Dataset → Data Uploads, and you will receive a confirmation email with the subject “File successfully uploaded.”:
