Verodat is designed to efficiently manage your data supply chain. One of its key features is setting a schedule for when your data is expected to be updated. It also designates a data owner responsible for these updates, sending reminders if the data is not refreshed by the expected date.
Verodat notifies downstream analytics users when the latest data submission hasn't been received, ensuring everyone is aware when data might be outdated. In Excel, the "Last Updated Date" is a crucial indicator of data freshness. Every time you load data from Verodat into Excel, the system generates this date, showing when the data was last refreshed. Alongside this, you’ll also see a line that tells you when Verodat last received data from the data owners. If an expected update was missed, this line will turn red, signaling that the data might not be current.
It’s always good practice to check the "Last Updated Date" whenever you open a report. If the date is several days old, we strongly recommend using the Excel add-in to refresh your data. This ensures you’re working with the most up-to-date information, helping you make informed decisions based on the latest data available.
