Table of Contents

Data Errors

A data error occurs when the uploaded data doesn't meet the conditions set in a validation rule. Simply put, it's a signal from Verodat that something needs attention. There are two types of data error, a Warning and a Critical Error.

Types of Data Errors

  1. Warning Error: Indicated by Verodat when an error is detected, but it won't stop you from submitting your data. It's a heads-up, and you can choose to resolve it or proceed. If unresolved, the data is flagged for analysis.

  2. Critical Error: This one's more serious. Verodat prevents you from submitting the data until the error is fixed and retested. It ensures data integrity before moving forward.

Handling Data Errors: For warnings, it's optional to fix them, but resolving critical errors is a must before submitting your data.

Data errors are like gentle reminders from Verodat to ensure your data is correct. Whether it's a warning or a critical error, addressing them ensures a smooth data submission process.
